This was the sort of week I had last week:
I was helping my 3 year old do puzzles downstairs while my 22 month old, Sophia was upstairs in my room watching TV. I went to check on her and found that she had pulled open the (thankfully empty) bottom drawer on the entertainment center and pooped in it. She won’t keep her diaper on, and she won’t go potty in the toilet, but a drawer, well that will do just fine, thank you very much!
I cleaned up the mess and went back downstairs to find Michaela (the 3 year old) getting ready to pour syrup on the kitchen floor. “I’m going to drown the ladybug in syrup,” she explained. Because isn’t that what you do when you see a ladybug – grab the syrup and pour?
I will be so happy when they are 2 years older.
